PROJECT DESCRIPTION — Through the partnership with Spinneybeck, part of MillerKnoll, Søuld Baffle is now available across North America — introducing eelgrass as a suspended acoustic solution for contemporary interiors.

Crafted from eelgrass gently collected along the coast of Denmark, Søuld Baffle brings together natural materiality and acoustic function. The panels are made from Søuld Acoustic Board FR, a net carbon-storing and fully recyclable material designed to return to new production at end of life.

Suspended as linear elements or arranged in more dynamic ceiling compositions, Søuld Baffle reaches Fire Class A and reduces reverberation while introducing warmth and texture overhead. Custom lengths and flexible suspension options allow the system to integrate seamlessly into open workspaces, cultural buildings and hospitality environments.
Through Spinneybeck’s material-focused portfolio, eelgrass enters a North American architectural context where environmental responsibility and refined detailing go hand in hand. The result is a suspended acoustic element defined by tactility, circularity and quiet performance.
