Søuld Wall

PROJECT DESCRIPTION — In collaboration with Spinneybeck, part of MillerKnoll, Søuld Wall brings eelgrass acoustic panels to wall applications across North America — offering a natural alternative within contract and residential interiors.
Made from eelgrass collected after it washes ashore and dried by sun and wind, Søuld Wall combines sound absorption and Fire Class A with a distinctive organic texture. The material is fully circular and designed to be returned and reintroduced into new production when no longer in use.

Chamfered edges add depth and subtle shadow lines, allowing panels to be installed in varied orientations or composed into larger surfaces. Natural colour variation and fibre inclusions are visible across each panel — a quiet reminder of the material’s coastal origin.

Through Spinneybeck’s long-standing work with natural architectural materials, Søuld Wall integrates into projects where tactile warmth, acoustic comfort and considered material choices shape the atmosphere of a space.
