DM - Do More

PROJECT DESCRIPTION — Located within the publicly accessible rooftop garden at IKEA Copenhagen, Do More is a restaurant, café and meeting space designed around food, community and shared experiences. The concept brings Middle Eastern culinary traditions together with Scandinavian ingredients, creating a contemporary setting for dining, conversation and events.

Designed by ADEPT and realised by Logic & Co., the interior is shaped by a considered palette of natural and biogenic materials. Søuld Acoustic Mats FR are integrated across the space to reduce reverberation and support comfortable acoustics in an environment that accommodates both lively restaurant activity and focused meetings.

The soft, tactile eelgrass surfaces introduce warmth and material depth while complementing the surrounding timber and crafted architectural details. Their understated expression allows the acoustic solution to become a natural part of the interior rather than a separate technical addition, contributing to an atmosphere that feels calm, welcoming and connected to the rooftop landscape.

The project also extends beyond installation. Eelgrass offcuts generated during construction were collected and returned to Søuld, where the material can be re-pressed into new acoustic panels. In this way, acoustic performance, material responsibility and circular processes were considered across both the design and construction of the space.
